Brian D. Byrnes is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities where he received a liberal arts degree in Speech Communication and a minor in Journalism, and he received his law degree Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University in 1998.

Brian and his father, Dan, joined Bakke Norman in June of 2002 when Bakke Norman merged with the Byrnes Law Office in Amery.The Amery office is conveniently located within 45 minutes of the county seats of St. Croix, Pierce, Barron and Polk Counties. Brian’s primary practice areas are real estate, estate planning, probate, as well as creditor and debtor work.

Carrying on a commitment instilled by his parents, Brian is active in service to his community.He is an active member of St. Joseph Church in Amery, including sitting on the Pastoral Council.He has also served as a member of the Zoning Appeals Board for the City of Amery, and as a member of the Redevelopment Authority for the City of Amery.Professionally, he represents a variety of civic organizations, including the Amery Housing Authority, the Polk County Housing Authority, Northwest Homes of Wisconsin, Inc., and various churches and religious organizations in the area.

When not working, Brian enjoys golfing, rooting for the Packers with his wife and two children, and keeping up with the latest technological gadgets and computers.
