Deanne is as a member of the Bakke Norman litigation and trial team. Deanne’s academic and clerkship experiences have prepared her to join Bakke Norman’s criminal defense, family law, and creditor/bankruptcy practices. She will practice primarily out of the Menomonie office and anticipates her work expanding what the Menomonie office can offer the community and outlying areas.
Deanne received her Bachelors of Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She then received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. While in law school Deanne held a clerkship with a litigation firm so she is well accustomed to the fast-paced and exciting environment trial work brings. As a commitment to the community, she also volunteered during law school for All Parks Alliance for Change and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services providing legal assistance to those in need.
Deanne is currently involved with Menomonie’s Chamber of Commerce. She is an alumni of Leadership Menomonie offering a curriculum demonstrating opportunities to contribute and to improve the Menomonie community. She also sits on the steering committee for Menomonie Young Professionals which plans to offer professional development and community service opportunities to Menomonie's up and coming professionals.
Deanne resides in Baldwin with her husband. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as playing basketball.
