David C. Schoenberger is a member of Bakke Norman’s litigation and trial team. He concentrates his practice in employment law and personal injury, while also representing individuals, businesses and municipalities in general legal matters. He also is a prosecutor for various area municipalities.

Mr. Schoenberger is recognized for his expertise in employment law, often receiving referrals from other attorneys and past clients. He has also given a presentation to the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Wisconsin State Bar Association on the status of Wisconsin’s disability discrimination law. David has also provided his assistance in drafting a section of the State Bar’s Attorney Desk Reference Book.

Mr. Schoenberger practices primarily out of Bakke Norman’s Menomonie office, but represents clients in a wide geographic area of Western and Northwestern Wisconsin. David and his wife and children live in Menomonie.

The attorneys at Bakke Norman, S.C. understand that resolution of legal disputes is often best accomplished outside a courtroom. We encourage our clients to pursue alternative methods of dispute resolution. However, we also recognize that there must be a willingness and ability to take cases to trial when necessary. Mr. Schoenberger has litigated cases in state and federal court, as well as in administrative forums.

David C. Schoenberger received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He received his law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. After graduation, Mr. Schoenberger worked in general practice in New Ulm, Minnesota for two years. Mr. Schoenberger was also a Judge Advocate in the Army National Guard, serving both in the enlisted and officer ranks for a period of 8 years. David is licensed to practice in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.
